About
I’m a Senior UX Designer specializing in accessibility, design systems, and complex digital products built for specialized audiences. I currently lead UX design at the American Psychological Association, where my work spans large user-facing systems — e-commerce and purchasing flows, repository-based applications, and smaller, high-impact products built for specific professional and institutional audiences.
Before APA, I worked as a UX Designer/Developer at Cornell University’s Mann Library, where I helped design and build a federal agricultural data repository serving both public researchers and USDA staff. That project, and my broader time at Cornell, confirmed for me that UX was the right path — it pushed both my technical skills and my usability instincts, and taught me how to ask better questions of the specialized users I design for.
I hold a Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification (UXC #1067002), renewed annually, most recently in January 2026, and have front-end development experience alongside my design background, which shapes how I work: I design with a clear sense of what’s technically feasible, and I’m comfortable working directly in code when it helps a project move faster.
